Meet Your Instructors

Learn how to teach Pilates as healing, mindful movement from mentors who have been teaching for the right reasons for a combined 45+ years!

Nivea taught her first Pilates class in the 90s and is a recognized teacher through NCPC (National Pilates Certification Program). After being taken under the wing of her incredible mentors during her STOTT training, she committed to paying it forward as a mentor for future instructors. Her joy for the practice, infectious enthusiasm, and kind, direct way of giving feedback make her an absolutely dynamo to learn from.

“A wonderful teacher and I have learned so much from her in such a short period of time. I have learned to not take myself so seriously and through seeing her in her own practice, I have been able to find more joy in my practice as well.”

— Silvia, Teacher Training Graduate

Spaces are limited to ensure that we can provide one on one support and a small group learning environment.

Once we’ve reviewed your application and accepted you to the training cohort, you’ll receive our teacher training agreement and payment details so that you can book your spot with your first payment.

Your investment for this training is $6000. Most teachers at our studio see a financial return on that investment within their first year of teaching, but depending on how often you teach, it may be sooner.

The return on investment in terms of your personal growth and the benefit to your health is priceless!

A note: completing the training does not guarantee you a teaching spot at the studio. Graduates will still be required to interview, audition, and complete onboarding. If you complete the full requirements of the program and utilize the trainers as mentors, you will be well prepared to audition and begin your Pilates career with us at Pilates For the People.
